Lord of the Rings has a distinguished reputation

Something I forgot to suggest, you can check the files that will not add to iTunes with another player. I'd recommend VLC - (click on link) _ (choose nearest mirror site). Whilst it is primarily a video player, it also plays most audio formats also, more than iTunes can.
