Hello Community,

I'm Murv and im new to the community. I just loaded LW 5.1.2. I've attempted several times to open a file after downloading only to get a pop up with the title media usage rights acquisition. One of the pop ups is of sexual material the other has been for the purchase of the smilies. What can I do to get my files open w/o having to be subjected to the other stuff.:p

There are some things you will need to learn to beware of. Some industries feeling threatened by p2p sharing networks respond by spamming them with fake files, virus files & advertisements for their material.

There are ways to filter much of this spam out.

Also, some people purchase files over the internet from sites that encrypt their files with DRM which prevents them being played by anybody else. Some of these people inadvertently without knowing better, share some of these files on the network.
