Hi there!

I have thoroughly read all over the net, and for months, ways on how to upload Wav files to an iPhone and to change them into ring tones.......

All info had me feel that only a PhD in Comp-science would be able to realize such thing... In other terms "SUPER TWISTED COMPLICATED PROCEDURE"

Does anyone know how to do this in a simple way...?

I'm not 100% sure but .. two options I can think of.
1. Get MPEG Streamclip (free) drag & drop the audio file (WAV) into the program interface window, else go to File menu -> Open file. Then go to File menu -> Export to Other Formats. Then in drop-down menu at top choose iPhone. You can set the parameters as you wish. One issue is the Mac version does not recognise WAV files, however i presume the Windows version MPeg Streamclip does. Not a big issue converting WAV to AIFF anyway. :)

2. Another option is use iTunes however I'm not sure whether it does have correct abilities. Go to preferences & set to AAC custom setting.

Add the WAV file. Select it in iTunes Library, then go to Advanced menu choose Convert. Put the converted versions into a fresh playlist I guess & sync that with your iPhone. Obviously I'm purely guessing with the iTunes possibility.

Can't wait for missy to comeback from wrok and to play with her G3..........

G3 wow .. I still have a G3 here but it's now only used with the scanner (first model G3.) :)
