![]() Hi, Sounds like some of you might be experiencing different problems. I recommend trying the following procedure to upgrade your Java, and point your shortcuts to the right place. 1) Uninstall any versions of LimeWire on your computer. 2) Download and install Java 1.4 in the default directory 3) Install LimeWire and say yes if it wants to install java 1.3 4) Go to any shortcut you plan to use for LimeWire, right click on it and open the properties menu. 5) Highlight the contents of the field labeled target and delete it. 6) Replace what you just deleted with: "C:\Program Files\Java\j2re1.4.0_01\bin\javaw.exe" -Xss64k -Xms4m -Xminf0.10 -Xmaxf0.25 -jar RunLime.jar 7) Done. Java 1.3 can now be uninstalled. Please let me know if this solves your problem. Avi |
