I just recently downloaded limewire 2.4.4 on windows 2000. Every time i click on the limewire icon to open the program. A box pops up that says limewire has encountered an error. It also said that i should copy the problem and paste it to email it to [email protected]. I did that. when i first downloaded limewire the limewire program opened up but it wouldn't connect. Is this because i have aol? if so, curse aol!!!! i hate that i can't download any p2p applications just because of aol. Anyone have any answers??

That's probably a problem with your installation, maybe some of the LimeWire jar-libraries weren't installed correctly or the classpath isn't set. In any case I would suggest you deinstall LimeWire and reinstall it again. Hopefully the problem will be solved.
