used ad-ware, re-ints limewire still crashes
 

Hi,
using win2k, prog crashed within 10 mins of running.
1. Read the forums,
2. ran ad-wire,
3. deleted all the files recommended by it
4. Re-installed lime wire

The problem still persists, need help. The prog shuts down auto/crashes.

still crashes but before going down it stops downloading
 

As the mssg said it wont download the files, then it crashes.

starting up again, the download is slow then it crashes.

can someone pls. solve my problem

thanks for the reply, here what i did
1. Uninstall limewire
2. run ad-ware and removed all suggested files
3. Installed limewire again.

4. I did find another issue, of the one downloaded file in 3 days, it did not play in winamp, it shows the right size and name but nothing in the file, this must be a dummy from the person i downloaded the file so guess will have to do another check.

5. I was planning to purchase a copy, let the creators earn something, im from the industry, so i know how tough it is to make a product. though if i cant resolve the problem, back to winmx.

There are a fair amount of hoax files around.... some will have what appear to be appropriate file size but contain silence or noise or loops - I suggest you locate the file again but don't download any matches with that exact file size as the one in question.

Ok fixed all my problems thanks to all

now my prob is about an hour after starting the downloading stops about 2 hrs after even persons wanting to upload from me stop.


I also run imes, could that be a problem
