search gone

I just upgraded to 2.5.5 and now my Search button is always greyed-out. What has changed?

The search button is usually greyed out when you are not connected to the network - i.e. your problem is that you can't/aren't connect(ed).

I suggest you browse through the connections forum - there is probably some advice in there that will cover your problem.
