LimeWire Will Not Open
 

I installed limewire on my computer and it will not open. Someone else had the same problem, I tried what the reply said tried a reapir of reinstall didnt ork. Uninstalled it didnt work dont know what to do.

Are you trying to open Limewire from a desktop icon? If so the link might be broken. Try going to your Start menu, Programs, Limewire and see if it will open. If not navigate to your limewire directory and double click the Limewire.exe file. If that works you need to delete your old shortcut and create a new one.

isnt this a linux version hes talking about? if so forget about an .exe file. it doesnt exist.

use a terminal and cd into the LimeWire directory and type this:

sh runLime.sh

tell me what happens and i can help you more.
have you got java installed?
is it added to your path first of all???
actually, if it wasnt limewire wouldnt have installed...
