Recovering Deleted Files !!!

Help! I've deleted nearly everything in my directory, but it isn't in my Recycle Bin!!!

What do I do? It's on my hard drive somewhere--otherwise I'd see it in the bin. Right?

unfortunately, deleting files from within other programs bypasses the recycle bin. i actually don't know _any_ program that moves files to the recycle bin on deletion. (including the add/remove programs feature on windows).

'bout the only way you'll get the files back is to find some sort of undelete utility that'll scan your hard drive ....

Thanks. If they're gone, I'd just like to know they're no longer on my hard drive--I'm afraid w/the 10+ megs of music I have downloaded, my computer will crash if they're not for sure deleted.

AAAAAAAAAACCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCKKKKK!!! I can't believe it. What a BUMMER.
