Where is the upgrade download?

I purchased Limewire on 7/28/02, and as I understand it, I was given 6 months of free upgrades. When I just visited your download section, I see where I can purchase the licensed copy (again), or download the free basic version, but I don't see where I can upgrade my licensed version. Am I missing something?

Help!

Lost your installer?....

When you purchased the PRO version, you should have been given a personal web link (installer) to use for your 6 months of free upgrades. If you didn't save this web link.... you can click on "Lose your installer? Get Support" link on the PRO download page. You can then enter your email address originally used when you first purchased PRO. LimeWire will re-send your personal link for the free PRO ugrades.

Save this link.... for the remainder of your 6 month period! ;)

You are correct sir! Thank you for pointing that out to me. I was able to download the upgrade.

You're welcome Mark. Glad you're all set. :)

Not quite set!

I installed the upgrade that I downloaded through the link on my registration email, but now the new program won't even come up. I get:

STARTUP ERROR LimeWire version 2.7.3 Pro or above Java version 1.4.0_01 from Sun Microsystems Inc. Windows XP v. 5.1 on x86 Free/total memory: 3681768/4128768 java.lang.reflect.InvocationTargetException

I sent in on to the bugs-report email address, but have heard nothing back (2 weeks now).

What can I do?

Hmmm.... Well Mark I'm now running 2.7.7 with no problems.

Not sure about your launch error... Only suggestion I would try is... uninstall 2.7.3, uninstall/re-install Java, then either re-install 2.7.3 if you still have that installer, or you can just give the current 2.7.7 beta a shot.

Good luck.
