Default deleted didn't uninstall topmoxie

Before I knew that limeshop was topmoxie and before I started using the upgraded limewire , I was in my start tab in msconfig and found the name top moxie. I went to a sight to find it was spyware. I didn't know how to unistall it so I did a search for top moxie and deleted it. I never uninstalled it. Now when i go in my add remove programs and click on limeshop it gives me could not locate inf file c\programfiles\data.inf. i have been having problems with my computer and am suspecting that is because i didn't uninstall this program correctly. any help would be greatly appreciated

Hi,

Try reinstalling Limewire - the same version tight on top of the existing version. Now use add / remove to remove what you don't want.

Don't know how this will affect your Pro version, but there's 2 things you might try.

Delete Limewire, then re-install. When I installed limewire (basic) there was an option of wether to install Limeshop or not. I didn't.

Or run Ad-aware, which deletes spy and adware from your registry and hard drive. They have a free basic version you can get at:

Either option ought to work for you.

Have a Blast.
