Can't select folders for Saving or Sharing

When I select Tools -> Options and Saving or Sharing, I can only select certain folders. If I navigate to a valid folder and try to select it, LimeWire just seems to ignore it. I am on Windows 2000 ME and have made sure that both folders have the sharing attribute set. Anyone know why this is?

Are you using Windows ME or Windows 2000? If you are using Windows ME you should upgrade to Windows 98 ;-).

1.) DON'T set the sharing attribute in the explorer.
2.) Make sure you press "OK" after selecting the folder.
3.) You can also add folders to share when going to tha library tab and clicking on FILE->ADD FOLDER TO SHARE.

Thanks trap_jaw! The key for the sharing folder is to highlight the folder and then click OK. I was actually selecting (drilling sown into) and your tip clued me in.
