Sorry--look through the menus for "Connections" (or something like that) to show the IP addresses of the computers (Hosts) your machine tries to connect, and other info. The list often changes, so searches through one set of connections might well be different than through another set. I know very little about Java, except that Java is a core ingredient that limewire uses, and has different versions to run on different platforms. I'm on Mac OSX, so was surprised to hear your searches were better on Mac. I usually hear the opposite.
