Default search on windows v mac

Just curious..
I purchased pro for both my PC and my Mac laptop. Why do I receive 2 x the search results on my Mac? I ran identical searches at the same time on both systems. The difference is remarkable.

Good question--are you connected to the same hosts? Is the Java the same?

I am a newbie. I don't know what you mean.
I know they are both LWPro, which is the extent of my expertise.
How can I check this out or possibly correct it?
Thank you

Sorry--look through the menus for "Connections" (or something like that) to show the IP addresses of the computers (Hosts) your machine tries to connect, and other info. The list often changes, so searches through one set of connections might well be different than through another set. I know very little about Java, except that Java is a core ingredient that limewire uses, and has different versions to run on different platforms. I'm on Mac OSX, so was surprised to hear your searches were better on Mac. I usually hear the opposite.
