WJVeiw ERROR

Folder from previous Limewire product had a Limeshop name to it. Whenever I re-boot or try to remove Limeshop file in "Add or Remove Programs" I get an error message "WJView Error ( ERROR: Could not execute Main : The system cannot find the specified.)" I think the previous Limewire program didn't unload right. Please help me for this is very annoying. I don't have the exe. file from whatever that version was and don't know where to download it from.

Thanks in advance,

Richard Morrell

Where in Regedit?

I am not sure what I just did but my question was where do I look in regedit for the file. There are quite a few in there and I looked through a lot but I am not even sure what folder to look in....

how to stop the WJView errors

This is for all the people having the WJView error.
I have found a solution to this annoying problem, having had it my self. It originates from Limewire(thanks to the spyware they install) When you delete or attempt to modify the spyware..I.e. Limeshop...it causes this error. The solution is simple!!! I have just discovered if you install Spybot Search and Destroy and run the program...it solves the WJView error by correctly deleting the spywear. http://www.safer-networking.org/ Be sure that you read the tutorials as in how to use this powerfull program. I highly suggest you use this program, you may have ALOT of spyware you didnt even know you had! I have tried other programs, but, this is by far the best out there today. Best of all it is TOTALLY FREE!

Changing the registry helps. You can do it with Windows (as described) or download regseeker:

http://www.hoverdesk.net/freeware.htm

Search for WJView and delete it.

Donīt delete things from the registry if you arenīt sure what you are doing. Make a backup first.
