Installed Limewire, now Windows Explorer crashes
 

My husband - a Mac user - recommended Limewire, and I installed it on my PC (running Windows ME). Although Limewire seemed to work fine, immediately after installing it, Windows Explorer began crashing when I tried to open a folder. I get an error message about an error in <unknown>, and when I hit the "close" button, Windows Explorer (*and* Internet Explorer if it's open) closes. I uninstalled Limewire, but still have the Windows Explorer problem. I read somewhere that some plug-ins have problems with Internet 6.0 (which is the version that I'm running) and that I should go back to 5.0. I know just enough to be dangerous, and so am asking for help before going any further. I would appreciate any suggestions tremendously! Melanie
