Will LimeWire...

...ever be proxy server compatible? I'm using a satellite broadband d/l facility and would rather use that than a modem to d/l.
I have configured Outlook to use the proxy by using 'localhost' and Port No: 9202 but I'm not sure if I can use this option with LimeWire (which I would like to, because the software is much better than KaZaa Lite - and I would be prepared to pay for it!)

That always depends on what kind of proxy you use. - It would be possible to add SOCKS proxy support, for example. In fact, I have a patch somewhere on my hd that would do so.

Thanks anyway, but I'm probably not going to be using LimeWire, after all. I'd rather buy a prog that will support this option than have to obtain patches and/or link programs to do so.

Cheers,

Pete
