tray issues...any suggestions?

If I agree to put the 1.5 icon in the system tray and later double click on the icon, nothing happens -- no window pops up. Similarly if I rightclick on the icon, I'm given no options...there's no repsonse. Is this as it should be? If there's nothing you can do with the icon once it's in the tray, what's the point of having it there?

any help or calrification appreciated.

What OS?

Nope, that's not supposed to happen. We're working hard to fix this right now. What OS are you running? I'm guessing it's Win98 or Wi***.

It doesn't seem to be an isolated problem, I have the same problem. (Win98). Also, when you fix it, it would be good to fix another bug I found:
When you scroll down the search list, it blurs. It's not too much of a problem, all you have to do is click on something, but when when you scroll a lot, it gets annoying.
Keep up the good work!!!!

P.S.=Thanks for putting the new version of Java in with it, I might actually get Dialpad to work now! :D

Re: Chris Rohrs

To answer your question about the OS...it's Win98. Do you have a solution to the non-connection problem (ie Limewire connecting for a moment but then disconnecting and then not responding to a click on the Connect button?)

I think the connection thing is just a server thing or something, not a bug

Might be a bug

There actually may be a connection bug after all, but there are also some serious problems with the server(router.limewire.com). Try removing "router.limewire.com" from the Connections tab and adding "64.61.25.139:6349". That's router.limewire.com's group ping port. It won't work perfectly, but it may improve things. You may also want to try 64.61.25.139:6346.

To unhappy Wi***/ME/98 1.5 users: we've pulled 1.5 from the website and have put trusty 1.4b back up. Sorry for any problems!

When?

Crohrs, when do you estimate you will have most of the bugs cleared?

Everything other than the systray problem on LimeWire 1.5 is fixed. We could ship without the systray code but have not made that decision yet.

We have 2 internal versions of systray w/ Windows code. Does anyone have a definite version of this type of code other than the old Java World article?
