Thumbs down

Is it a Java Virtual Machine Launcher error saying "Could not find the main class. Program will exit!"? If it is, I have the same problem. Only on my computer I get the error not only when I try to use the uninstaller but also when I login to Windows. By the way, I have the basic verison, not the adware professional version so it's not like Limwire should be launching any software (ie: the adware software) at startup. The fact that I get that error at startup makes me wonder what Limewire is up to.

Okay, so I was ratting around in the LimeShop install file and found a solution that doesn't involve throwing away parts of Windows. Using RegEdit (open "Run..." from the Start menu and type "RegEdit",) go to My Computer->Hkey_LocalMachine->Software->Microsoft->Windows->CurrentVersion->Run. You should see a registry entry with the name LimeShop. Delete that entry from the registry and your startup problem will be solved. Then, in your Program Files folder, drag the LimeShop folder to the trash. Now, if I could just find a way to keep LimeShop from being listed in the Add Or Remove Software control panel.

Yea. This sucks. I just want to delete LimeWire. I have researching this for hours and it is frustrating me. I did everything you said. I just have it in my Add/Remove Files section. Please keep posted on how to get rid of that. Thanks.
