illegal operation too

I'm not sure what is going on either. I have been using Limewire for about 2 months and everything was going fine until these last couple of days. All of a sudden I'm getting 'Limewire has caused an illegal operation in 'unknown'... if this persists try restarting your computer... I also have Windows ME and a cable modem. I can't keep a connection for more than 5 min. Can anyone shed some light?
