How to revert "clear inactive" command
 
hello

i just pressed by mistake the clear inactive command in limewire and the file which was downloaded around 50% and had stopped just vanished ... can somebody tell me how to get that file again and start the download from that point

hey thanks man .... cool .... it worked ... and secondly the downloads are happening too slow ... it was not the case earlier but when i added little more search and started download ... it just went dead ..... too slow ... any suggestions ... you know how things get too annoying in todays world if they get too slow ... thanks

Slow downloads depend on the slowest link--once you've lost a good connection slot on a fast host's machine(s), there's not much more you can do than "Repeat Search." If Repeat Search shows lots more hosts for that file, sometimes it's better to just start a new download.

btw--I forgot to say last time that you can just start a new download, and it will resume where it left off (if it truly matches). That's the other way to resume a file. The third way is to quit and restart LimeWire, since incompletes are added to the downloads list on restart.
