Is there anyway to cleanly uninstall Limeshop/TopMoxie? I installed Limewire a few days ago, but I decided to get rid of it. I was able to uninstall it fine, however, TopMoxie and Limeshop are still in my computer. I've checked the official websites for both and it says on each of them to use Add/Remove Programs in Control Panel to uninstall them, but the don't show up there at all. I know they're still in there as I've seen the folders and saw some items from them in the registry. I'm not too familiar with it though so I don't want to go removing things myself. Anyone know of any fix for this? and other than those two programs did Limeware install anything else? (other than limeware itself of course) any help would be greatly appreciated |
I still have limewire but wanted that limeshop/Top Moxie stuff off my computer. It was difficult but in addition to the add/remove method I went into my Program Files and deleted the folders completely. That seemed to do it as I no longer got this pop up error saying Top Moxie couldn't install. I am pretty sure that did it. good luck. |
that still leaves all those registry entries though. The folders are no big deal I know how to get rid of that, it's the registry that I don't know much about. That's y i'm tryin to find some kind of fix that'll get rid of it for me. Anyone know of one? |
Start->Execute: "regedit" In regedit go to: Edit->Find... Search the registry for "limeshop" and delete the matching registry entries. |
