Cant start...

Hi

I tried to run limewire today and it gets past the little green limewire logo booting up box type thing(

), then just doesnt start. The window doesnt come up.

Is this the first time you've tried to use LW?

Try the fixes 1, 3 & 5 in this thread. Use the JRE offline installer for updating Java. Remove your old Java version before you install the new one.

If you've used older versions of LW before, you could have a preferences folder in point 2's location as well

i am having the same problem. what is the fix? it just all of a sudden, won't go past the load screen. i have been using it for a year and then all of a sudden, nothing.
