Limewire Pro and connection problems

I have installed Limewire Pro 3.8.9 on my desktop and 3 laptops using wireless networking. As soon as either computer connects to the internet a message window pops up stating the there is no connection. I uninstalled limewire pro and on the computer I am able to connect to the internet as long as I don't try to log on to the internet with another computer with limewire pro installed on it. If I do I loose the connection. I have to unplug the cable modem and router and repower both up. I have uninstalled limewire from all computers now. All computer work well as long as I keep limewire off of them. Has anybody out there had problems like this? I have e-mail limewire asking for help but no response. I am convinced limewire pro is junk. I would appreciate any help.
