Limewire prob, please help!
 

when i start limewire the pc searches for a file called javaw.exe.
After a while the pc says that he cant find this file.:confused:
I already exclude the new.net files with ad-aware. But it stil dont work. This new.net files are in the ignorlist of ad-aware and should not disturb limewire to start.
If you had the same prob or an idea, please answer.

This problem was supposed to be fixed in 1.6, but I guess you still have it. When the search box comes up, click browse, go to the Windows folder, and select javaw.exe. That should clear it up. If you still get the message, just move javaw.exe into your system folder.
Also, if you get lots of NEWDOTNET2_109.dll error messages, you'll have to remove new.net from your PC fully.

now it work, cause i clicked on jawa.exe>>>>>>Lime is steady now:D.

Well, I tried what you said and it didn't do a thing. I double-click on LimeWire and nothing happens and the same happened when I clicked on javaw.exe. What should I do? HELP!!!!!!!

i´ve deinstalled limewire many times and downloaded it again many times from the internet. the last time i downloaded lime 1.6
and then it still have not worked until i clicked in the windows folder on the jawaw data.>>then it worked.
I am wondering that it doesn´t workk on your comp.
