Deleting more than 1 & album art

This is a really stupid question but how can i delete more than one thing from my library at a time, ive tried dragging the mouse to highlight more than one at a time but it wont work and ive also tried doing ctrl+c to get more than one at a time but that wont work either.

My next question is how do make it stop getting the album art for songs that i download?

Not sure about the album art, but did you try shift-clicking the files? If the list is sorted so all the files you want to delete are in order, that works for me on OSX.

Still--I don't like using LW to delete files. I'd rather use LW's Explore button, then drag the files to the trash. Gives me a chance to correct the dumb mistakes I make.:)

If you are talking about music files that you D/Led from other users than the album art has been included at some time by a fellow user... It is not something that you could block or 'prevent' as it has been included in the tagging info.

I make a point of doing my best to acquire and include album art in the tags of any files I share, but you surprise me if you are suggesting it is a 'problem' as the vast majority of files being shared do NOT include album art.

Curious where you are seeing the album art... Musicmatch Jukebox ?

Alnum photos can be inserted in the MP3 ID3v2 tags, and are viewable at least in Windows Media Player, iTunes, ...
It's just a tiny JPEG or GIF image inserted into the ID3v2 tag. Its size (1 or 2 KB) is ridiculous face to the size of any good MP3 (1 or 2 MB)...

There's no way to stop downloading it because it is part of the file content. LimeWire shares files, not fractions of files. LimeWire does not parse files to determine which part is useful and which is not. Instead it parses MP3 to get its embedded meta-data in ID3 (and now ID3v2) tags, that help improving searches by keywords...

So if you stop downloading an MP3 before its end, you may miss some music (an ID3v2 tag can be present at the beginning of the file, and not only at end...)
