![]() Hi, Thanks bunches for any help in advance. I have two questions. I just downloaded Limewire Pro yesterday and all seems fine until I sign off line to work on something and then several times already about 10 popup boxes one after another start appearing saying. "Limewire is unable to connect to the Gnutella Network this is often due to Friewalls ect." If I click OK on the boxes they wont go away nor can I x them out, all doing this does is cause more to appear. How can I stop this? And why is Limewire trying to connect to anything when im off line? I have my settings set so it doesn't start when I start my computer, so very confused as to why this is happening as I dont feel it should be. Jill |

![]() Hi, Thank you for your reply. But as the gray popup boxes are active they freeze my computer and I cannot click on any thing, the only way I can get out of this is control, alt, delete. Plus still would like to know how this is happening when Im signed off line? Jill |

![]() Check these items to make sure they're not running. 1. Click on "options" in the tools tab. 2. Click on "connections" & make sure the box for "Connect at startup" is unclicked. 3. Click on "shutdown" & choose "shut down immediately". 4. Click on "Advanced" then "system startup" & make sure the box for "Run on System Startup" is unclicked. I hope this resolves your issues. |
