A paradox...
 

When the installer for windows loads, I see the installation program for a second, then BAM it disappears. If I hit alt+ctrl+del it's listed, but it doesn't finish installing or anything... it just stops. Help?

The LimeWire installer does experience difficulties with some system configurations.

We have not made changes to the installer code for LimeWire 1.4, so you will continue to experience this problem (most likely) when we release LimeWire 1.4 later this week.

We will be making significant changes to the installer code on at least Windows and OSX for the LimeWire 1.5 release, however. There may also be a LimeWire 1.4b release that will include these changes, and that may come out in the next several weeks. This installer should work for you, but it is unfortunately not available at this time.

I apologize for the inconvenience, but hopefully we will have a version that will work for you shortly.
