Laws

Hello,
Someone told me that LimeWire, as well as any other software like this is not legal. Say it isn't so. This is great software. Any info on this?
Thanks, John

It isn't so (ask a lawyer).

Giving legal advice is a higly trained and often profitable profession, so forum and casual gossip are not very reliable.

See if http://www.eff.com/share/ gives you better info.

cheers

Limewire is "legal" software designed for the lawful sharing of files among users.
The only "trouble down the road" one may have would result from the content of those shared files (i.e., copyright violation, child porn, etc.).
