LimeWire blocks all of my memory until Win98 is dead Does anyone experience the same? LimeWire progressively eats up all the Windows memory until there's nothing left for other progs and at a certain point it freezes (Limewire, not Win98). Sysmon reports there is 256 MB of unused memory, but you cannot start applications anymore, they tell me "no memory" and quit. It might go on for a longer time, if I had set the virtual memory to an unlimited size (actually I have it deactivated because 384MB of RAM are enough for any other application I use, Videoediting, IE6, whatever...) Limewire doesn't NEED all that memory, it just locks it - that's what I complain about! |
