Limewire program doenst open
 

I cant get the program to open i click on the icon and nothing happens is there anything that i can do?

It is possible your shortcut is corrupt. Try going to START, PROGRAMS and launch Limewire from the start menu. If this works you need to delete your shortcut and install a new one on your desktop.

I think you may have to re-install Limewire.

Did you uninstall the old copy of Limewire before you installed the new?

Its worth a try, it worked for me. Read this post i did and try it!

'Ok this may work for you or it may not but if you've tried everything else to get Limewire working again and still have had no luck try this....

1) First you need to get this program http://www.tune-up.com/ it's a free download of course

2) Now once you've installed the program and opened it, down the left hand side there will be options to choose from. You need to click on the one called 'Optimize & Improve'.

3) Now you'll see three more options, you will need to click on the second one down 'Tuneup RegistryDefrag' Once done just sit back and let it run

4) Once its finished it will restart your computer. Then you should be able to open LimeWire again.'
