Someone needs to fix this install
 

The 1.6b install is jacked up. Hangs on that Java install just like all the rest. This needs to be fixed and updates put out.
Limewire gets the thumbs down for now

The beta version of LimeWire 1.6c will be released on our web site sometime quite soon. The new version will include an updated installer that should work much better.

How soon is soon? I downloaded the .exe file, but it won't let me open it. Silly me--I uninstalled the old before I even downloaded the new.

Will you also update the directions on how to install on a Linux machine? I see a solution to install on Suse 7.1 by using LimeWireOther.zip but there is no file to download called LimeWireOther.zip. Where is it? there is one for Windows with no VM.
