Limewire will not open
 

I see this question has been asked a few times but still here it goes.

I have just install LimeWire 4.1.2 - Basic

It will not open when clicking the icon... hours glasses thing!

Tried new short
Tried running exe from C:\Program Files\LimeWire ********
Tried disabling McAfee Firewall/Configuring it
Tried reinstalling (with different directory)
Tried reinstalling Java
Tried running in Windows 98/Me compatibility
Tried old dialup connection and current Broadband one

I have an Athlon XP 2800+ PC, 1024mb PC2700 DDR RAM, ATI Radeon 9800 Pro, 2X8gb Maxtor Hard Drives loads of other rubbish and a 512K Broadband connection.

I am connecting my PC and laptop via a Netgear router lol anymore infomation you require?

There is no viruses or spyware on PC.

What version of Java do you have installed? Are you using IE or Netscape as your browser?
