 I have the JDK. I couldn't get the windows installer to run-I ran into the iKernel.exe problem so many are having. I also had the Linux version(straight cross-platform java), so I installed it instead. Wrote a .bat to replace the .sh, and it works beautifully, though I did have to create my own icon. None of the install problems are addressed on the official LimeWire FAQ, alas, so I'm sure a lot of people are just giving up. They really need to improve the troubleshooting info!  |
