Salut Kevin, unfortunatly, it is possible to get viruses on everything  On windows systems I recommend a good antivirus software and you are good to go with any P2P. Of course I do not have any antivirus software on my mac ;)

Bonne chance

Of course.
I do have one though: Norton Antivirus. So far, I think I've encountered 2 or 3 viruses, but they were all for PC so no worries. I just figured I could eliminate them from my system so that I can serve a non-infected file to the net.

As a side note, one of the virsues I encoutered was from those emails that filled the mailboxes, entitled 'Important' or 'Hello' and which had an urgent status. Hah! Guess what? They were PC only too. Not that I want more viruses for Mac...

Héhé, thing is that antivirus softwares slow down machines a lot (even on a 3.06 ghz P4 with a fast hard drive). If I'm immune (mac), I say get the hell out of here stupid antivirus programs!!! Powa to the people! :D (also, email with viruses are SO easily identifiable -- and trashable--:o).

Ciao

You can say that again. I myself only opened the mail and downloaded the content to see if it was Mac-compatible. It was so damn obvious it was a virus. Pff. At least now I don't get these emails anymore.
