Big problem! need help
 

Ok it worked fine for like 2 weeks and then now i cant type into the search box and when i try to it wont but when i hit buttons like F it opens the file bar but i cant select anything in it. I am running the newest java and i am running it on a 98SE system.

did you try reinstalling limewire, to uninstall you go to add/remove programs and uninstall there, than you delete the files, in the limewire folder, which is usually under program files. and the .limewire folder inside of c:/documents and settings.
and maybe it's 98 that version is old but (good in a way)

i tried on more than one occasion and its not working at all. im really getting fed up with the program.

Try this: uninstall LW, restart your computer, go to the web site or your download page and redownload LW (look for the latest beta version). Then install LW. Tell me what you come up with. (You might want to redownload java just for giggles.) Good luck.

How can one human tell so much bullshit... do you know WHAT JAVA IS? Do you know that Limewire is written is JAVA? DO you know that Limewire wouldn´t work without JAVA? Do you know that you have an other programming language then? Do you know how much work it is to translate it? Do you know that you need for Macs and Linux own versions? If the answer to one or more of this question is no - SHUT UP! :mad:
