Flickering Transparency

This is not a real problem, since it doesnt do any harm, but ist quite irritating sometimes:
I've got a couple of freeware programs installed, including Rainlendar and ObjectDock and when I start the Limewire Window all those using transparent or half-transparent pixels start to flicker.
Flickering stops as soon as LimeWire is hidden, minimized or closed.

Any idea what could be done?

AAA, I have this too! And it sucks. It's kind of like it's stealing the attention every milisecond. It's got to be a java problem because I downgraded from 4.0.8 back to 4.0.7, but the damage has been done, I'll have to figure out how to get out of this new java then.

I'm not sure if this is the same as what you're suffering, but if you hold your cursor over an mp3 & it shows its id tag info, it can cause LW to do something similar. It's actually worse on the mac. I can only suggest that you try to keep your cursor away from mp3 files listed in LW unless needed to seek out their info. try not to hold it there for too long.

No, this is with other programs, for me Winamp and AIM, not LimeWire. It's only when they're transparent. Even the LimeWire install program makes them flicker. This is the international 4.0.8 and also 4.0.7 version.
