album wrap extractors

hi,is there a post somewhere here(i have looked first) to explain the different ways of "album wrapping" i have tried to extract certain mp3s which extract no probs then others that are not a known format,the software i have at the moment are alba extractor o.4 dev and albumwrap extractor v1.0.
i can manually split them using cool mp3 splitter but are there any other progs that can recognise these other formats.

One option is Audacity (a free audio editor) which can recognise most mp3 formats out there: http://audacity.sourceforge.net/windows.php Don't forget to also dwnld the other items on that page such as the plug-in enabler, manual, etc. With an audio editor you can open/save into mp3/wav & also equalise the song if it needs it.
