How Can I Make Lime Wire Pro STOP Asking To Be My "Default Magnet Link Handler"?

Hey, anyone know how to make Lime Wire Pro STOP asking if I want to make it my default magnet link handler? (Aside from actually agreeing to let it be, of course. )

I am sick of that little box popping up every time I open the program... I must have clicked “NO” about 40 times by now.

Each time such a window comes up tick the box that says 'Do not display this message again' OR 'Always use this answer'. Then go to LW's menu Tools-Options-View & untick Revert to default.

I appreciate the help LOTR, however, there is no little "Do not display this message again" box to tick on the pop-up.

Also, I checked the options menu and "Revert to Default" was already unselected.

Any other ideas? :)

There's no current way to do this, Tom. Sorry. We'll investigate adding a way. Why, offhand, do you not want it to be your magnet handler?

I use a different service. (Shareaza)

What is Magnet Link Handler?

Tom Sederburg December 24th, 2004 09:49 AM

Magnet links are links that automatically open up one of your P2P programs and search for the file you clicked on.

Your magnet link handler is the program that it opens.
