| Sounds suspiciously like a problem with some garbage having been D/Led and installed (probably inadvertantly). And, the so-called "message from M$" sounds especially like some nasty little app. has been planted in the maching, hmmm ? In other words, probably nothing to do with LimeWire... Wonder if the message says that the user is under risk due to inadequate anti-virus... blah blah blah Norton will not always catch that type of garbage... Adaware might... ? You also cannot 'manually' remove stuff like that unless you really do know what you are doing as far as Registry entries... Last... XP SP2 makes numerous changes to many things... I have seen Norton Internet Security / A-V settings considerably altered by the install of SP2...
