Video is all screwed up...
 

Ok, I've used limewire for a while now and love it. But, as of today, whenever I open it the screen is all bugged out, and if it's running and I try to play a video in windows media player that video is all buggy too.

What's the matter???

I am experiencing the exact same issue. I have an Nvidia 5200 that has worked fine with LW until the most recent release 4.2.6. Everything was perfect for WMP until this LW release. Now, every video I play WHILE LW is running is messed up. If I close LW completely, then the problem fixes itself. As long as LW is running, no video works.

Could be for a no. of reasons
Have you checked if Nvidia have updates for your drivers?
Could be a ram issue if you have less than 500 MB. Good idea to defragment your HDD if you can get around to it also!!! Strange things can start happening otherwise.
Make sure your java is at least up to version: Java 1.4.2 (click on link) LW will only ask for Java 1.3 when it installs but really 'needs' a later version.
