why do my downloaded songs sound so fast?

I recently downloaded Limewire and started downloading songs right away. When I went to play the songs in WMP, the songs played really fast (the beats, background music, etc.) even though the artists sounded the same. I have no idea why this is happening and I'd really like to be able to listen to the songs at normal speed!

When you search for a song, leave out the word 'TECHNO' !

or else media player 10 should be able to shange the play speed.
view>enhancements>play speed.

Though it could also be your codecs that are out of date. Just do a google for 'K-Lite codec pack'
