Help!

I've downloaded some music and I want to burn to a C.D. but the problem is WMP (Window's Media Player) can't read the files. So I go to Tools>Options>Player, and click off the Limewire thing, restart my computer and try to play the files in which it shows the WMP file symbol. But WMP says this:

Windows Media Player cannot play the file. The Player might not support the file type or might not support the codec that was used to compress the file.

I've tried Audio File converting, but that made no difference. Not to mention I went to Microsoft and downloaded the latest codec. I need to know what on earth to do. I'm stuck and need help to get me through this.

You can always try another player such as Winamp at:

I would definitely recommend winamp over wmp. But otherwise you can get xtra codecs here: http://www.divx-digest.com/software/nimo_pack.html

Hmm...

Why does WMP do it though. It worked a little while back but then it just decided not to work. I can't figure it out. I'm only listening to music and only downloading music, all I wanna do is listen to music so those Codecs arne't helping. Winamp is proberly good but you can Maxiumize it and iTunes I can't figure out. I like WMP the best.
