writing cd image to disk problem

I have downloaded a zip file with the following enclosed file '*****.oFULL.ISO', after unzipping it I have been unsuccessful at burning the disk image.
Nero burn software has not recognised it as an image file, requires an '*.nrg' extension.
I have managed despite this to burn the file several times but the resulting CD is not readable.

It states on the ZIP file it is a multi track ISO file for Mac & PC.

Any help appreciated.

Not being an experienced Nero user i can't answer that. Except that Roxio Easy CD & DVD should have no problem with it so long as it's not corrupt. Are you sure you have the full version of Nero that can create & burn CD images.

I have compiled Music CD Images and burnt to disk, this particular file has an ISO extension, whereas Nero requires an NRG extension (not recognising the ISO).

Nero should be able to burn iso.
But perhaps the iso is corrupt ?
Have you tried to open the iso with WinRar or Isobuster to check ?
Both programmes have a evaluation version

I just checked Nero Burning ROM (on a virtual pc), & select File>Burn Image... & in the 'Files of type:' drop down box in the window that opens shows option to open either nrg, iso or cue.

Nero Version

What version of Nero was that ?

My version is 5.0.4.6, and I don't get the alternatives to *.nrg

Oh just to answr the question about version of nero, this one is 5.5.9.9

OK Peerless, great, that worked - thanks !!

Having installed the software I am so desperately in need of, it is now saying my 'regional settings are incompatible with this version of software'.

This is the second time this has happened !!

Can I mention the software, and how can I get around it ?

This means very little now but just to show what I was talking about & I know very little about nero here's an example:
