Why it blink all the time?

I am using stylexp and stardock cursorxp visual enhancement programs. May be these kinds of visual enhancement programs are making it to blink all the time or is there other problem???

I dont know what those programs are that you are using, but mine is blinking also. I just downloaded last night, have windows XP, my firewall and virus software (has a P2P shield) are both configured to allow the limewire/gnutella/bearshare/shareazza, I have installed the updated version of Java but yet limewire is still blinking and it can get on your nerves when your trying to read the search results.

Is there something else that I need to make an adjustment to or something else that I need to download to STOP that dang blinking?

I'm not sure whether you are both suffering the exact same issue for the same reasons. When you put the cursor near mp3 files, their id tag info will display. Having the cursor hanging around them can cause them to blink. May I suggest you try not to have the cursor floating near mp3 file names unless needed. It's actually worse on mac osx. It's a habit you need to get into. It apparently is Java related but still not totally fixed. Java is getting better. One day ... lol :D

I have read of an issue that can happen with enhancement apps. Think it was something to do with X...?

Yes, I would like to know what these
white flashes' are? The last versions Never did this. It's very annoying, is there a fix??

Apparently this blinking is due to some visual effects of winda xp. I switched to the best performance option and suddenly all the blinking thing has gone. And also I uninstalled those extra visual **** for xp also. Now my LimeWire is not blinking as it is said waiting for better dayz to re-install my lovely visual effects :D

Ok, I have looked everywhere for that option and either I dont have it or I aint seeing it. Where do I find that option?

Luv right-click on my computer and select properties. There you should see advanced tab. There you should click button named settings under performance placeholder. So under normal circumstances you would find two radio buttons with labels as adjust for best performance and adjust for best appearance. Hope i could help
