Default i have two ipod libraries, with different number of files

i am new to file sharing, i bought an ipod, import cd's no problem. starting using LW to fill up the ipod, after much trial and error i finally figured how to import to itunes. Now i have two libraries on my ipod. My ipod library has 855 songs, when i click on LW tunes i have 646 and it has all the songs i thought i downloaded into itunes and i also says itunes. When i open itunes on my drive the folders are there with the songs in their correct folder. what did i do wrong? How do i get all the down loaded sonngs in the correct library? Can anyone help out a rookie

It sounds like you're using windows right? In windows, the limewire playlist in iTunes is purely a reference to the files in the LW Downld folder. To import these into iTunes own library you can just drag & drop them from the lw dwnld folder into the iTunes app & it will add them to its own library. I don't have an iPod so I can't speak from experience about how an iPod works. You may find moe tips from here: http://www.apple.com/support/itunes/...ial/index.html & also if you search the forum for the word ipod. Use the search button top-right on this page.

For an iPod tutoria see here: http://www.apple.com/support/ipod/tutorial/index.html
