Opening Files

WHEN I TRY TO LAUNCH A DOWNLOADED FILE...A POP UP SCREEN SAYS "CANNOT LOCATE PROGRAM.EXE". HOW TO I GET THIS SO I MAY OPEN FILES. THANKS IN ADVANCE SUE

PROGRAM.EXE -> Windows
- what extension does the downloaded file have?
- if not mp3, rename to mp3 (for example)
- what application is linked to mp3?
- none? download freeamp (www.freeamp.org) to get a proper player
- still doesnt play? Try "format c:" and reinstall :D
