installed limewire but will not open
 

I have downloaded and installed limewire at least 10 times and yet evertime I have done so the same action takes place.
I click the icon on the desktop and it will attempt to open but then does not do so.Same thing happens when I try opeing it from the programs menu.I am not sure what the problem is.
Please HELP!!!!

uninstall lime wire, then uninstall java.
reinstall limewire, it will reinstall java with the correct thread

Hi I'm new to this forum and not sure what to do I have 5.2 which works perfectly then I updated to 5.3 which works after installation but if I turn it off then try to open it nothing happens. I have vista home premium and latest java with broadband connetion
