Default Click Icon & nothing happens

For those of you who, like me, had no action at all when clicking on the LW icon after installation of 1.6d, good news: The 1.6d 118 (old Java) install works fine for this problem too!

The 1.6d118 download is at:
http://www9.limewire.com/download/LimeWire16d118.exe

If you don't want to download another version, you can find fixes for this problem here:

Default not a problem...

C:\>java -version
java version "1.3.1"
Java(TM) 2 Runtime Environment, Standard Edition (build 1.3.1-b24)
Java HotSpot(TM) Client VM (build 1.3.1-b24, mixed mode)

is my version. This is Sun java. and running on a WinNT4 sp6a dual processor system. I am also behind a linksys firewall and pass just one port for limewire.

from limewire.props:
MAIN_CLASS=com.limegroup.gnutella.gui.Main
CLASSPATH=LimeWire.jar;collections.jar

these changed between versions so if you kept an old file as I tried to do at first various odd errors pop up.

so I only transfered paths, forced ip address, port, and exclusions over to the new newly installed limewire.props

something created a limewire16d.dll in the directory that wasn't there upon installation (from the small zip file) and so was likely generated by the java machine. Deleting this might let it produce a new one that won't crash.

Everything works and people don't need pushes to get my files.
