IE6 breaks LimeWire 1.6d?
 

I installed IE6 yesterday and now LimeWire produces the following error:

java.lang.ClassNotFoundException: a.a.a.b.Main

I followed the propsed fix and now I get.....

java.lang.ClassNotFoundException: com.limegroup.gnutella.gui.Main

Any ideas?

Originally I couldn't get LW 1.6d to start. Uninstalling the old JRE solved that problem.

LW 1.6d was then working until I installed IE 6.

Maybe you could try re-installing JRE 1.3.1? See if that changes anything.

I reinstalled LW 1.6d via the Control Panel's Add / Remove program function. This resolved whatever was broken.
